Jaguar Drivers' Club National Day

The Jaguar Drivers’ Club will be holding their National Day on August 5 in the grounds of the magnificent Rockingham Castle in Leicestershire, parts of which date from more than 1000 years ago.

Several special displays are planned to celebrate a number of milestones including the 80th anniversary of the SS80, 50 years since the  Daimler V8 was introduced, the 30th anniversary of the XJS cabriolet and the 20th anniversary of the XJ220.

A number of concours events are also planned and there will be the usual selection of food stalls and trade stands. Amongst these will be Jaguar Heritage, with its merchandise trailer and a selection of cars from the collection to support the various anniversary celebrations - including the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Swallow Sidecar Company.

These will include a 1928 Austin Seven Swallow, two V8 Daimlers - a 1961 SP250 Dart and a 1966 250 saloon - and a 1974 E-type Series 3 V12 open 2 seater which was the last E-type ever produced!
